Opt-Out
Kai's canon and backstory bring up a lot of uncomfortable and triggery subjects. There is the possibility of things coming up in tags which may be uncomfortable, and I want to give the option of opting out of both individual topics or the character as a whole.
1. Racism The humans and elfin in Kai's world fought a war, and a lot of people on both sides died. As a result there's a lot of anti-elfin prejudice among the humans, and Kai was sort of raised by humans. He often refers to the elfin with slurs and is also used to being subjected to random violence if he goes to the wrong part of town, for being elfin. It's something that may well come up on its own, but it's not going to be necessary for anything so can be avoided if preferred.
2. Casual Sex Kai likes his sex casual and that means he tends to flirt pretty casually. He flirts mostly with people he doesn't know, but it's also something that can be pretty easily avoided if you're at all uncomfortable with it. Just let me know!
3. Traumatic Backstory Kai's backstory in canon deals with torture, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, being hunted, ownership, forced pregnancy, suicide. He bears quite a few emotional and physical scars from this, although it's certainly not something he talks about casually. I want to make sure I give people the option to opt-out of that coming up in threads. I will warn if any of this does get referenced.
Similarly, should you prefer that I not tag you at all, you can also use this post to say so.
